School Technology Commission
G.S. 115C 102.5
Purpose:
Analyzes the current use of technology in the schools, identifies instructional goals that can be met through technology and proposes state school technology. The Commission also oversees the State Technology Plan.
Membership:
16 members who serve 2 year terms. Appointments are made by the Governor, General Assembly, UNC, Community Colleges and the State Superintendent, and the Sec. Of Commerce, the Sec. Of Health and Human Services or a designee.
