Live Audio Streaming
State Board of Education Meetings Via Live Audio
The State Board of Education meeting will be audio streamed each month. This will allow the public to listen to the current Board meeting from a personal computer. To access these streams, you will need a free media player (Real One Player, or Real Player) and speakers. Likely, your workstation has one of the necessary players installed. The state data network can block Real Player from connecting to our streaming server if a user does not customize his software to connect in a certain way. To configure the Real One Player for use with the state firewall, please go to http://www.ncpublicschools.org/distancelearning/technical/index.html. If you are uncomfortable installing software or encounter problems, please contact your local technology support staff.
